Read about La Tertulia on The Patriot newspaper
"I enjoyed meeting new students who are fluent in Spanish or just beginning to grasp another language at La Tertulia. None of the students or faculty members was silent or talking to one group of people. Everyone was getting up or turning to different sides, engaging in conversation. At times where I couldn’t understand what some students were saying, they were gladly to break it down in simpler terms. It gave me inspiration not to give up because I really want Spanish to become a second part of me."

La Tertulia is a social event open to everyone interested in the Spanish speaking world. The aim of La Tertulia is to create a community where people can get together and speak in Spanish in a totally informal, laid back atmosphere. La Tertulia meets twice a month (the 1stand 3rd Tuesday of each month, at 2:00 pm) at The Grille. |
